For our previous 2002 Jeep Grand we purchased (about $100) our own copy of the same 2' thick Service Manual used by Jeep dealer service departments. This manual is well worn from all our changes and reading over the last 10 years. For our new 2012 Jeep Grand Overland I am looking for the same technical Service Manual.

Today a Jeep dealer Service Manager told me they have used the same type of paper Service Manuals up to the 2010 model year. But things have changed starting with 2011 (WK2) model year everything is digital only and he does not know of a paper copy.

Every tech has his own computer terminal and the shop has been coverted to WiFi everywhere. These computer files are not available to owners. Does anyone know of a paper source or downloadable PDF files for the technical Service Manual that show wiring diagrams, how things work, etc? I am aware of downloadable files for Owner manual, User manuals, Radio manuals.

But both of the above do not have personal tech data available for Jeep model year 2011 and 2012, so I am back to sitting on my hands. I have an AlldataPro account and there is nothing but TSB's for the WK2 along with some very basic and generic diagrams of door panels. It will be a waiting game I suppose.
